About The Position

BMA is seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to join our team in support of an upcoming proposal effort. This position is located in Columbus, OH. This is a contingent position, with employment dependent upon contract award. The role involves reviewing, consolidating, and developing cybersecurity policy, with Government approval, in accordance with applicable requirements. It also includes providing technical support and assistance to programs and assessing IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure an appropriate balance between security and operational requirements. The analyst will also brief senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.

Requirements

Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience
Experience with the general tenets supporting the overall DoD implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes
DoD Top Secret Clearance requirement
Eligible for an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at time of proposal submission
Maintain CSSP Analyst certification

Responsibilities

Reviews, consolidates, and develops cybersecurity policy, with Government approval, in accordance with applicable requirements.
Provides technical support and assistance to programs.
Assesses IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure an appropriate balance between security and operational requirements.
Briefs senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.
