About The Position
Provides support for day-to-day administration of identified cybersecurity platforms, such as EDR and SIEM. Assists with user account management, system monitoring, patching, and updating service components under the guidance of senior administrators. Helps troubleshoot and resolve service issues and maintain service documentation. The role supports Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems and is required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a computer-related field.
- At least one year of experience administering multi-user, shared processor systems and data communications networks.
Nice To Haves
- An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another related technical discipline is preferred. An additional year of specialized experience may be substituted for the required education.
