About The Position

Public Storage is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Administrator to support and enhance the organization’s identity security and web application security programs. This role is responsible for administering identity and access controls, supporting secure authentication services, protecting customer-facing applications, managing security risks, and assisting with security operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess experience in identity management, access governance, authentication technologies, web application security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring. This individual will work closely with IT, Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, Compliance, and Business teams to ensure systems and applications remain secure, resilient, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ of experience in information security, identity management, security administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise identity and access management programs.
  • Experience securing web applications and supporting vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and access-control concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and identity governance practices.
  • Familiarity with common web application security risks, API security, and secure access controls.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience supporting enterprise identity platforms, access governance solutions, and privileged access programs.
  • Experience securing cloud-based environments, software-as-a-service applications, and customer-facing web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Administer enterprise identity and access management platforms and services.
  • Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Support Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and access governance initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain role-based access controls and least-privilege principles.
  • Conduct periodic user access reviews and privileged access certifications.
  • Monitor authentication activity and investigate suspicious account behavior.
  • Support identity integrations with enterprise and cloud-based applications.
  • Assist in developing identity security standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support the security of customer-facing websites, web applications, and APIs.
  • Perform security assessments and coordinate remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Review authentication, authorization, session management, and access-control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate application security risks.
  • Assist with application security testing and vulnerability management activities.
  • Support web application protection technologies and security monitoring efforts.
  • Review security findings and track remediation efforts through completion.
  • Contribute to secure development and deployment practices across the organization.
  • Participate in security event investigations and incident response activities.
  • Monitor security alerts and assist with threat detection and analysis.
  • Support compliance initiatives, audits, and evidence collection activities.
  • Develop security documentation, standards, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Prepare metrics, dashboards, and reports for management review.
  • Assist with automation initiatives to improve efficiency and strengthen security controls.
