About The Position

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. This exciting opportunity provides candidates with the ability to contribute to the long-term health and success of the state while continuing to learn and grow professionally within Interclypse’s growth mindset culture. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland. Leads the administration, operation, and maintenance of identified cybersecurity platforms, ensuring service availability and reliability. Develops and maintains service documentation, standard operating procedures, and patching schedules. Mentors junior administrators, oversees complex troubleshooting efforts, and works with engineering teams to plan and implement platform upgrades and enhancements.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
Eight (8) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.
At least five (5) years of experience as a systems software specialist with duties relating to the evaluation and administration of enterprise-scale computer hardware and software.
Deep technical expertise in administering multiple security platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, CSPM).

Responsibilities

Leads the administration, operation, and maintenance of identified cybersecurity platforms, ensuring service availability and reliability.
Develops and maintains service documentation, standard operating procedures, and patching schedules.
Mentors junior administrators.
Oversees complex troubleshooting efforts.
Works with engineering teams to plan and implement platform upgrades and enhancements.
