MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Cybersecurity Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of GDIT GCIO - Digital Technology Office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring enterprise Vulnerability Management operations by guiding a vulnerability management team responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of security weaknesses across the enterprise. Collaborate with cross‑functional cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure vulnerabilities are analyzed, communicated, and remediated in alignment with enterprise hardening and compliance requirements. Drive continuous improvement in vulnerability reduction, hardening efforts, and remediation workflows through data‑driven insights, process optimization, and innovative approaches to reduce organizational risk. Utilize vulnerability scanning platforms such as Qualys, Crowdstrike, Wiz or Security scorecard, risk scoring tools, remediation tracking systems, and enterprise security frameworks to enhance vulnerability visibility and hardening effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Vulnerability scanning tools, enterprise remediation workflows, hardening frameworks (e.g., CIS, STIG), risk analysis, reporting, orchestration

Responsibilities

  • Lead/Manage/Support enterprise Vulnerability Management operations by guiding a vulnerability management team responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of security weaknesses across the enterprise
