About The Position

SAIC is seeking Cyber Instructors to provide support for cyber courses in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves supporting cyber defense instruction, working with technologies such as Linux, PowerShell, SIEM, and IDS tools, as well as hardware and cloud environments. The instructor will be part of a team dedicated to teaching and enabling personnel who defend the nation’s critical systems, located at Little Rock Air Force Base. These positions are contingent upon funding.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced experience with two or more of the following technical skills: Linux command line, Windows PowerShell (ability to understand and write scripts), Network traffic analysis (protocol analysis), Host based analysis, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Industrial Control Systems / Operational Technology (ICS/OT), Cyber Threat Intelligence.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct on-site instructor support to develop and teach cyber operations courses throughout the year.
• Coach, teach, and assess students in compliance with Air Force curriculum while providing feedback and progress reports.
• Make recommendations for updates and corrections to course material, software, and tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new course material to include technical writing and virtual lab design.
• Utilize a virtual cyber range during class instruction and communicate with range engineers as needed.
