About The Position

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Cyber Incident Response Analyst to join its team in McLean, Virginia. The team provides 24x7x365 cybersecurity support to a high-priority national security target. The position follows a fixed four-day work week, with 10 hours per shift. Staff are assigned to either Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with no rotating schedule. Openings are available on first, second, and third shifts; second- and third-shift differentials apply. Candidates must be able to train on day shift for six months.

Requirements

High school diploma and at least 1 year of cybersecurity experience.
At least 1 year of cyber incident response experience.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies.
Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
Knowledge of threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response best practices.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT-II certification within 6 months of hire.
Current/active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Relevant certifications, including GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Incident Response Handler (GCFA), or similar.
Experience using SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools.
Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Experience with threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response.
