About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support its U.S. Department of Energy contract. This role will be based in the Washington, D.C. area and will involve providing a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services. The primary goal is to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals who aim to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Requirements

  • 5–12+ years designing, implementing, or securing enterprise IT and operational technology environments.
  • Experience with cloud security, Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
  • Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and continuous monitoring.
  • Security+, CISSP, Azure Security, AWS Security, or equivalent certifications
  • Active TS/SCI or DOE Q Security Clearance Required

  • Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.
