About The Position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer VI to perform a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems. Tasks involve the integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements. The role involves analyzing information security requirements and applying analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning. Additionally, the position provides security-engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience.
  • Four (4) years of maintaining Insider Threat solutions in a DoD environment
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
  • Satisfy 8140 Requirements for DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist — Intermediate via BA/BS in relevant field or approved certifications (CEH, CompTIA Cloud+, CySA+, PenTest+, Security+, GMON, GRID, GSEC, SSCP) or approved military training.
  • Satisfy 8140 Requirements for DCWF Work Role 451: System Administrator - Intermediate via BA/BS in relevant field or approved certifications (CompTIA Cloud+, Security+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) or approved military training.
  • Secret with IT-I (Tier 5) clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
