About The Position

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. This exciting opportunity provides candidates with the ability to contribute to the long-term health and success of the state while continuing to learn and grow professionally within Interclypse’s growth mindset culture. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland. Assists in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise. Works under the direction of senior engineers to configure and troubleshoot security tools, respond to security alerts, and perform initial analysis of potential security incidents. Helps maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a software engineer or systems administrator.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working directly with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), or endpoint security solutions.
