About The Position

The Cybersecurity Architect Intern will support the Cybersecurity Architecture team’s work on security standards and best practices, with exposure to emerging security topics. The ICE Internship Program combines hands-on work on business projects with career and professional development. Interns also participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and learn about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.

The internship is full-time, five days a week, at the Atlanta office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Candidates select a preferred session during the application process. Partial participation or alternate dates cannot be accommodated.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university, advancing to at least junior year, and pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Have a solid grasp of core security concepts, including networking, IAM, and cryptography.
• Have basic scripting or programming experience, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Be familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and version control such as Git/GitHub.
• Have strong analytical and written communication skills, including the ability to document technical findings clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
• Be available to work full-time, five days a week, at the Atlanta office for the entire duration of one designated program schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to security tooling such as SAST/SCA and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cybersecurity Architecture team in reviewing security standards and evaluating vendors and tools under senior engineer guidance.
• Analyze security tool configurations and research emerging topics such as agentic AI, cloud security, and post-quantum cryptography.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and maintain documentation from design reviews.
• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
