About The Position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the cybersecurity posture of mission-critical finance-related systems. This role will assist the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) activities, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity audit readiness. The successful candidate will work closely with cybersecurity, engineering, and Government stakeholders to maintain security documentation, monitor system compliance, and support recurring security assessments and audits.

Requirements

  • Must possess or be willing to obtain quickly a Security+ certification
  • Must hold active Secret clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
  • Familiarity with DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, or related cybersecurity compliance frameworks
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, operating systems, encryption, authentication, and common security tools
  • Experience supporting day-to-day cybersecurity operations in enterprise IT environments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or comparable academic discipline
  • 1+ year experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or related roles
  • Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen

Nice To Haves

  • Practical understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle
  • Experience using ACAS, Tenable, or similar vulnerability management tools
  • Experience using eMASS or other RMF documentation management tools
  • Experience supporting FISCAM, FIAR, or other Federal audit activities
  • Experience supporting DoD or U.S. Air Force systems

Responsibilities

  • Support the ISSO in maintaining the appropriate information assurance posture and preparing for cybersecurity compliance audits, like FISCAM
  • Assist with development and maintenance of RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and security assessment artifacts.
  • Assist with validating security controls for systems, applications, and cloud-based services
  • Support continuous monitoring activities and security compliance reporting
  • Review vulnerability scan results, track remediation activities, and assist with corrective action planning
  • Analyze threats and implement best practice methodologies for incident detection, reporting, and vulnerability remediation
  • Support enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
  • Maintain operational security posture for information systems
  • Support change management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware
