About The Position

Cherokee Strategic Edge (CSE) is seeking a Cyber Analyst (Cybersecurity Assessment) to support our government customer. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Requirements

Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
Experience collaborating and working with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
Lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
Experience providing guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.
Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.
Mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
Have in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
Experience reviewing analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence polygraph. Candidates holding an active Top Secret/SCI clearance without the polygraph may be selected; the ability to obtain the required Counterintelligence polygraph is a condition of the position and will be completed as part of the hiring process.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Nice To Haves

Preferred to have a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last two (2) years.
Desired to meet one of the following: Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; Or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional five (5) years of related senior experience, for a total of seventeen (17) years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

Develop and implement research and process improvements in collaboration with government leadership
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
