We are hiring a Cyber Systems Engineer who will provide technical expertise to the Army’s Project Management Office (PMO), Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE), in Huntsville, AL. This role involves assisting and advising product offices on DoD RMF continuous monitoring requirements, determining security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, assisting PM ASE SMEs in identifying integration issues and preparing cost estimates, and creating/completing documentation and artifacts for continuous monitoring. The engineer will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of eMASS packages, verifying security systems using DoD approved technologies like STIG/ACAS/Static Code Analysis, maintaining security by monitoring compliance, conducting incident response analyses, and developing/conducting table-top exercises. Additionally, the role requires reviewing DoD cyber architectures, systems, or system components for various computing, network, and enclave environments, ensuring that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure, including designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
