About The Position

Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. Coordinates and addresses Supply Chain risk management concerns. Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers on the implementation of Cyber solutions. Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application. Implements appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security (or a closely related discipline) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in the field.
  • 3 years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering role
  • Possess or ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in the application of Systems Engineering principles, Systems Design, Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Experienced in the application of the Risk Management Framework to information systems
  • Experienced in the design and/or operation of satellite and ground systems
  • Experienced in applying Cyber Security capabilities and concepts to satellite systems
  • Demonstrated Cyber Security Engineering proficiency consistent with DoD 8140
  • Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Intuitive and proactive self-starter that’s accountable and mission focused
