About The Position
The Cyber Security Technical Lead is a senior, hands-on security professional responsible for advanced security operations, technical leadership, and engineering execution across the Microsoft security stack and supporting technologies.
Requirements
- Microsoft security stack experience
- Ability to lead technical initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science
- 5-8 years of IT/Cybersecurity experience
- Experience leading security teams or security programs
- Experience with cloud security (Azure or AWS)
- Experience implementing NIST, ISO 27001, or Zero Trust frameworks
- Strong incident response and security expertise
- Proven leadership and project management experience
Nice To Haves
- CISSP and/or CISM certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead high-severity incident response; perform deep investigations; coordinate multi-team response; drive root cause analysis and remediation.
- Design, engineer, and optimize Microsoft security platform, WAF, DLP, endpoint, and identity systems.
- Translate architecture into deployable controls; implement baselines; lead automation and enforcement mechanisms.
- Act as escalation point and mentor SE1 and SE2 engineers; establish standards and runbooks.
- Implement monitoring and controls for AI and LLM-related risks including prompt injection and data leakage.
- Project a friendly, professional image at all times
- Attend meetings as required
- Prioritize multiple, competing priorities
- Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor
- Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
