About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to provide support for achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for all supported systems. This role involves network monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, security response enforcement, threat analysis, and compliance auditing. Requirements

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in information security management, preferably in a DoD environment.
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience with Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and POA&M tracking and resolution.
  • Master knowledge of the Navy’s Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) policy.
  • Knowledge of systems functions, security policies and technical security safeguards.
  • Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Ability to work in a team environment, solve problems and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
  • Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for all supported systems.

  • Create and maintain Annual and Quarterly Security Reviews.
  • Analyze and assess vulnerabilities within DoD Infrastructure.
  • Support disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
