About The Position

ECS is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist III to work in a SOC environment in the New Carrollton, Maryland or Memphis, Tennessee office. The position is contingent upon contract award. The role develops and implements cybersecurity solutions to protect systems and networks against potential threats, researches and pilots new cybersecurity technologies, and investigates cybersecurity solution issues. It ensures solutions comply with organizational policies and guidelines, assists with configurations, validates secure complex systems, and tests security products and systems to detect weaknesses. The specialist works with stakeholders to translate security and business requirements into technical designs, develops engineering documentation and incident mitigations, maintains cybersecurity standards and policies, and promotes cybersecurity awareness. The stated salary range is $140,000–$160,000.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
At least 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities
