About The Position

CACI is seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity SME to join their forward-thinking team. In this role, you will have the chance to shape the future of cybersecurity by analyzing cutting-edge regulations, developing actionable policies, and ensuring technical requests and system architectures are fully compliant. This role is part of a small, dedicated team where your voice matters and your ideas are heard. You will leverage your extensive experience in cybersecurity, technical systems, and clear communication to justify recommendations and align with organizational goals.

Requirements

An active TS/SCI clearance.
5-10 years of technical experience with at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity.
A BS in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
CompTIA Security+ certification (CISSP preferred).
Advanced technical understanding of cryptographic systems and computer networking.
Familiarity with serial communication.
Deep familiarity with and experience implementing industry standards such as NIST, CNSS, etc.
Experience implementing industry standards and auditing implementations against regulatory requirements.
Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and arguments in writing and verbally.
Experience with DoD cybersecurity practices and policies.
The ability to work independently and without direct support.

Nice To Haves

Small team leadership experience.
Experience and knowledge of RF communications and RF theory.
Experience with unmanned aircraft systems.
Experience with embedded systems.
Technical experience with Android.
Experience with sensors and sensor packages (EM, LiDAR, EO/IR, etc.).
Experience operating in an advisory capacity on technical concepts.
Experience with red team activities (penetration testing, threat hunting, etc.).
