About The Position

S2Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support and maintain systems and network infrastructure. This role is responsible for providing end-user and common device support, managing configuration changes, licenses, and assets, conducting user training, and executing Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) services to ensure secure and efficient IT operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science with 2-4 years experience, Master of Science 0-2 with years experience, or High School with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Must have experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), log analysis, vulnerability analysis, and some scripting.
  • DoDD 8570 IAT Level II certification required
  • ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of C2 systems, CIP/COP platforms, and operational task organization structures.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for technical training and coordination.
  • Experience in implementing, training, and documenting software systems, including Ability to travel globally in support of operational units.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate alerts, anomalies, error, intrusions, malware, etc. to identify the extent of a security incident and be able to help isolate the responsible agents.
  • Maintain multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
  • Perform systems administration, maintenance, computer security, and support for servers on networks and Computer Network Defense-Service Provider (CND- SPs).
  • Perform changes to associated routers, switches, and encryption devices.
  • Recommend improvements to automated information system security policies.
  • Maintain and operate a services support program that provides systems administration, maintenance, computer security, and support for servers on networks.
  • Provide systems administration, maintenance, computer security, and support for physical servers.
  • Perform system, security, and operational testing/evaluation events. Tests to ensure Government data is protected from unauthorized disclosure and remains under Government control.
  • Test to verify configuration and protections of external and internal data flows between applications, containers, virtual devices, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Test to verify data at rest encryption on cloud infrastructure.
  • Test the build and related procedures.
  • Detect network intrusions and cyber incidents.
  • Detect, identify, and alert the Government of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities, distinguishing these incidents and events from benign activities. Assist in incident response.
  • Monitor systems security and responding to security incidents.
  • Participate in security systems testing.
  • Ensure integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data. Prevent and detect intrusion. Support incident containment and remediation recommendations. Conduct log file analysis.
  • Use various tools such as Remedy, Splunk, and Office Automation to perform duties.
  • Some positions may require work outside a traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.
