About The Position

As a Tier 2 security operations center (SOC) analyst, you will help secure critical infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber security threats and alerts. You will investigate security events using logs, tool output, and intelligence sources; follow escalation processes; and work with a team to understand, mitigate, and respond to threats quickly. The role also includes analyzing incidents to determine affected systems and assisting recovery efforts, identifying attacker patterns and goals using threat intelligence and event data, recommending improvements, and preparing reports and informational documents.

Requirements

Experience with DoD information systems.
Ability to support 24/7 operations via a shift work schedule.
Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience with DoD STIGs, SRGs, and hardening guidance.
Knowledge of ESS, ACAS, and DoD SIEM platforms.
Ability to work well on a team.
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Engineering.
