About The Position

The Cyber Security Analyst analyzes attack patterns, develops incident response plans, supports audit readiness, and implements disaster recovery measures to help ensure adherence to cybersecurity regulatory frameworks. The role includes monitoring and incident detection, incident handling and analysis, threat assessment and analytics, coordination with stakeholders and auditors, and cybersecurity awareness training. The mandatory skills are Checkpoint Firewalls and VPN. The position requires 5–8 years of experience. The stated compensation range is $60,000 to $135,000, with final compensation depending on factors including location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical and dental benefit options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options. Some roles may require a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Responsibilities

Analyze attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advanced threats.
Improve monitoring processes to support faster threat detection and compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans, and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption.
Conduct forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures aligned with compliance requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and auditors to support compliance with security frameworks.
Maintain accurate audit documentation and implement processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance.
Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.
