Integer Technologies is currently hiring a Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Manager reporting to the Director of Cyber Engineering. This role is located in Tallahassee, FL, leading joint work with Florida State University’s Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS) as part of a Navy‑funded cyber‑physical security program. The Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Manager will serve as Principal Investigator (PI) on large, multi-year cyber research programs with an emphasis on Zero Trust Architecture development, cyber‑physical resilience research, and threat informed defensive methods for naval power systems. This will include leading and managing technical research efforts, including developing cyber‑resiliency frameworks for embedded control systems, coordinating modeling and simulation environments for mission level assessment, and managing task interdependencies between different parts of the program. Integer is a science and technology research and development organization. As such, much of our work entails developing solutions for complex problems that presently have no known solutions. To achieve internal and customer project goals all candidates must be able to conduct research, understand new concepts from other engineering disciplines on advanced and complex topics, and document findings in a way that is easy for non-experts to understand. The Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Manager must be able to serve as a Principal Investigator and a technical contributor with a technical background to contribute to the development of new technologies and prototypes. The candidate must be able to oversee university partners, manage Navy stakeholder interactions, coordinate deliverables and SOW‑aligned milestones, and lead multidisciplinary teams in cyber‑physical research execution.
