About The Position

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Cyber Operations Execution Lead at GDIT. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Cyber Operations Execution Lead, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly support the mission of GCIO and Enterprise Cyber. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between GCIO and CHQ Cyber teams, helping to coordinate, structure, and drive a portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives for Corporate Headquarters. You will connect strategy to execution, ensuring clear alignment, operational visibility, and smooth collaboration across diverse technical and business teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience creating operational roadmaps that align initiatives, timelines, and business priorities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity domains such as operations, risk, and architecture.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and drive alignment in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Experience developing and managing reporting using systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Smartsheet, PowerBI, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of standard project methodologies including initiation, current state analysis, future state design, implementation, and transition/close‑out.
  • Ability to clearly present business strategies, initiative progress, and operational recommendations to senior audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective administrative, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Working knowledge of compliance‑driven environments and associated requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Translate cyber strategic goals into clear, actionable operational roadmaps that guide execution across the organization.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional cyber activities, ensuring alignment between GCIO and CHQ Cyber and enabling effective partnership across key stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain roadmap presentations and executive‑level materials that convey initiative status, progress, and value.
  • Maintain and report on a portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives, providing visibility to the broader organization and leadership stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor key performance measures that track organizational deliverables and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the cyber portfolio and support proactive strategies to mitigate or capitalize on them.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, and improve operational outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement by driving alignment between evolving cyber objectives, business needs, and execution capabilities.
  • Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
