About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Instructor/Developer to support the United States Air Force in San Antonio, TX. The role involves providing professional military instruction for the 39th Information Operations Squadron (Detachment 1), 16th Air Force, at Kelly Annex, Joint Base San Antonio Lackland (JBSA). This position supports Air Combat Command (ACC), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), and the Department of War (DOW) by instructing the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis Course (CTIAC). The instructor will develop course materials, create training exercises, and ensure curriculums are updated with the latest technology, systems, and tools in accordance with USCYBERCOM requirements. Responsibilities include facilitating academic tests and guiding students in creating pre-mission briefings. The CTIAC instructor will prepare lesson modules covering topics such as USCYBERCOM and National Cyber Strategy, Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis, Joint and Cyber Collection Management, and Joint and Cyber Targeting Processes. During off-course weeks, instructors will review lessons learned and prepare for upcoming courses. Instructors must be certified by the 39th IOS (Det 1) Instructor Methodology Course and maintain qualification standards. They are expected to be knowledgeable in current USCYBERCOM Cyber Threat Intelligence Operations, utilizing various intelligence holdings to share best practices with Joint Force Cyber students.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance on day 1.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Attend, complete, and graduate from the Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis Course (CTIAC), prior to commencing duties as a CTIAC instructor.
  • Attend, complete, and graduate from the 39th IOS (Det 1) USAF Instructor Methodology Course (IMC), prior to commencing duties as a CTIAC instructor.
  • Attend and complete the 2.5 week online 39th IOS Instructor Systems Design Course (ISD), within the first year of hire.
  • Attain and sustain a Qualification Evaluation Rating of Q2 (80%-89% equivalent) or above as a USAF certified instructor as per the 39th IOS Instructor Evaluation Guide.

Nice To Haves

  • Intelligence support to Cyber targeting or targeting experience is preferred.
  • Intelligence support to Cyber collection or collection experience is preferred.
  • All-Source Intelligence Analyst Instructor certification.
  • CTIAC Graduate.
  • Cyber/Intelligence related experience from the US Military and understanding of the DOWIN.

Responsibilities

  • Provides course development and instruction to DOW personnel for the Cyber Intelligence Formal Training Unit (CIFTU).
  • Prepares course materials and develops training exercises.
  • Keeps curriculums up to date with technology, systems, and tools updates in accordance with USCYBERCOM requirements.
  • Facilitates academic tests and student creation of pre-mission briefings, meeting CTIAC course requirements.
  • Conducts lesson preparation of CTIAC course modules.
  • Reviews lessons learned from previous courses and prepares tasked lessons for upcoming CTIAC courses.
  • Maintains Instructor qualification standards in accordance with the USAF and 39th IOS Instructor Operating Guide.
  • Leverages Cyber Threat Intelligence processes, tools, and an array of classified and unclassified intelligence holdings to share best practicing procedures with Joint Force Cyber students.
