About The Position

The Cyber Identity Management Engineer II provides engineering support for complex system management activities related to system software, hardware, performance, problem determination or resource management requiring communication and coordination with vendors, technicians, clients, and management. It will also provide technical input to management decision making in the area of software, hardware, and performance, leveraging automation and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate. Job responsibilities include: defining networking requirements; performing detailed analysis of various projects and requests; developing designs for projects that have varying degrees of complexity; formulating procedures; monitoring key performance indicators; and implementing advanced business solutions. The Cyber Identity Management Engineer may also integrate systems or operate in a DevOps model depending on the maturity of the organization and/or product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of technical experience performing logical access functions designing, implementing and deploying IAM services and infrastructure; or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Working towards or achieved Information Security industry recognized certification, such as CISSP
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies, including PAM, SSO, MFA, identity governance, lifecycle management, and directory services (AD, LDAP, DNS)
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, security best practices, and access control principles
  • Proficiency with operating systems, directory structures, scripting languages, networking concepts, and administrative utilities
  • Experience creating, managing, and manipulating data across multiple platforms
  • Solid understanding of data communications, access protocols, and access control capabilities
  • Ability to develop and document policies, procedures, and standards
  • Strong Excel and Word skills, with well‑developed written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to solve complex, interdependent problems
  • Ability to plan and manage work independently and effectively
  • Ability to identify IAM‑related manual or repetitive tasks suitable for automation
  • Sound judgment when applying AI‑generated outputs, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and business needs
  • Awareness of emerging AI and automation capabilities, with the ability to apply them responsibly in a regulated environment
