About The Position

The Manager, Cyber Fusion Team builds and leads a specialized Security Operations capability that converts threats, investigations, and intelligence into operational outcomes. The Cyber Fusion Team strengthens Security Operations by improving detection quality, readiness, and threat-to-control conversion; it does not replace CSOC monitoring, incident command, or remediation ownership. The role combines people management with hands-on program leadership, particularly during initial build-out and high-impact investigations or incidents. The position operates as an enablement function within Security Operations and reports to the Director, Cybersecurity Operations. The manager plans and executes workstreams for the information security strategy, translating priorities into operational roadmaps, project plans, measurable outcomes, and standard work. The role also manages security programs and governance, delivers security engineering and operational outcomes, develops team members, advances threat analysis and detection engineering, facilitates incident response, and ensures security validation, readiness, learning, and operational discipline.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in security operations, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response support, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, including processes and technology solutions that address gaps and issues.
Experience in project and program management for technology and/or security-related projects.
Management experience leading and implementing security projects and process improvement.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguity into structured, repeatable outcomes.
Proven coordination skills under pressure and strong written documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute information security strategy workstreams, translating strategic priorities into operational roadmaps, project plans, measurable outcomes, and standard work.
Manage security programs and governance to ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal compliance requirements.
Design, implement, and manage the lifecycle of security tools and processes to deliver security engineering and operational outcomes.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing security team.
Identify attacker behaviors, lead threat hunts, and ensure threat discovery and operationalization.
Own the end-to-end detection lifecycle and enable the SOC through threat-informed risk and remediation prioritization.
Facilitate incident response by assembling appropriate responders and partners, capturing decisions and actions, and coordinating after-action reviews.
Ensure security validation, readiness, learning, operational discipline, and guidance.
