About The Position

The Cyber Enterprise Asset Manager leads the strategy and daily operations of the organization’s asset management program, with a strong focus on technology and cybersecurity assets. This role ensures all hardware, software, cloud, and security‑related assets are accurately inventoried, effectively governed, and aligned with business and security needs.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: ITAM, SAM, or EAM.
  • 3 years in a lead or managerial role within a large or complex enterprise.
  • Experience developing and managing asset inventories, lifecycle processes, and cybersecurity‑related asset controls.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, CSF).
  • US Citizen
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMDBs, discovery tools, and automated asset workflows.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise security practices.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage enterprise-wide asset management processes (ITAM, SAM, EAM).
  • Maintain accurate inventories across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in asset discovery tools and techniques across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
  • Integrate asset data into cybersecurity programs, including vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle activities, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Improve asset visibility, reduce risk, and optimize utilization and cost.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, procurement, finance, and other stakeholders.
