Government and Public Sector Technology Consulting – Cybersecurity - Cyber Engineering Senior Consultant EY’s Government and Public Sector (GPS) practice is a robust and emerging practice with tremendous potential for growth - and we are prepared to tap into that potential. Our US GPS practice combines an understanding of the public sector’s diverse needs, focused on delivering improved public services, with private sector leading practices. The opportunity Join our dynamic GPS team as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity engineering gained in the government and public sector
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level clearance or higher
  • Experience in project and change management
  • Demonstrated characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator who thrives on new challenges and adapts to learning new knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in-person as needed
  • A deep understanding of cybersecurity and privacy principles
  • Proficiency in system administration and threat hunting
  • Strategic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design and execution of cybersecurity deliverables
  • Proactively participating in client sessions and potentially leading workstreams
  • Assisting in identifying service opportunities and contributing to RFPs
  • Monitoring project statuses, resource plans, and budgets
