As a Cyber Defense & Engineering Consulting Co-Op Intern, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic field of cybersecurity, focusing on Identity and Access Management. Within our Advisory practice, you will engage with clients to support their cybersecurity needs, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to client projects, enhancing your understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and practices. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects and performing basic tasks, all while observing and learning from experienced professionals. This role emphasizes a learning mindset, encouraging you to ask questions, take initiative, and develop your personal brand. You will have the opportunity to gather information, analyze data, and contribute to the success of your team. Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
• Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
• Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school.
• Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school.
• This role is six months in duration and traditionally has start dates in January and June.

Responsibilities

• Supporting cybersecurity teams in implementing identity and access management solutions
• Participating in the development and maintenance of network identity management systems
• Assisting in the evaluation and enhancement of cybersecurity measures and protocols
• Engaging in vulnerability management and IT infrastructure assessments
• Contributing to the design and documentation of access control models and systems
• Collaborating with team members to manage user access rights and authorization compliance
• Learning and applying encryption technologies and identity-based encryption techniques
• Observing and participating in cybersecurity consulting projects to gain practical experience
• Gathering and analyzing information to support cybersecurity initiatives and strategies
• Developing technical documentation to support cybersecurity processes and systems

Benefits

• The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
