About The Position

As the Cyber Data Scientist and Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data science and machine learning techniques to analyze large and complex datasets, with the goal of identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats. This role builds predictive models, collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity analytics, and applies technical expertise to deliver actionable insights that support client objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and data science
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, and cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with leading teams, managing projects, and program management
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity data sources and sensor technology
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Security, or Data Science
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Lead Data Scientist (CLDS), or Certified Applied Data Science and AI for Cybersecurity Professionals (CADSAI-CYBER) Certification

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning and data mining techniques to analyze large and complex datasets, supporting the identification and mitigation of cybersecurity threats.
  • Build predictive models and analytical frameworks to proactively detect and assess potential risks, leveraging strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity analytics capabilities, integrating diverse data sources and sensor technologies to drive mission outcomes.
  • Apply technical expertise in data science and cybersecurity to deliver actionable insights, inform decision-making, and support client objectives.
