About The Position

As a Cyber-Counterintelligence Desk Officer supporting U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command's Cyber Coordination Division (CCD), you will advise customer staff and supporting units across the full spectrum of cyber CI investigations, operations, and collection missions. You will research emerging FIE/FTO cyber methodologies and tradecraft, author finished intelligence products and senior leadership briefings, and coordinate with key IC and law enforcement community partners on cyber-related events.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current CI Polygraph (within last 5 years)
  • Due to clearance requirements U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Prior credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent experience, minimum 10 years (Army 35L/351L, AFOSI, NCIS, or predecessor). College education does NOT substitute for this experience.
  • Graduation from one of: Army CISAC, Army 35L (or predecessor), Army 351L (or predecessor), Air Force BISC, or Navy SABTB
  • Graduation from all three cyber courses: JCITA 'CI Investigations in a Cyber Environment'; DCITA 'Windows Forensics Examinations' (EnCase or FTK); DCITA 'Forensic Intrusions in a Windows Environment' (FIWE)
  • Strong understanding of CI investigations, FIE TTPs, and fundamentals of cyber counterintelligence

Nice To Haves

  • CCITP-F/A, GCIH/GCFA/GCFE/GREM, and Security+/Network+
  • FBI Cyber Division and NCIJTF liaison experience
  • Proficiency with M3, RMT, TAC, ALICE, ID Scoreboard, CHROME, and Palantir Gotham/Foundry
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, Diamond Model, and Cyber Kill Chain

Responsibilities

  • Advise customer staff and supporting units across the full spectrum of cyber CI investigations, operations, and collection missions
  • Research emerging cyber methodologies, tradecraft, tools, and procedures used by Foreign Intelligence Entities and Foreign Terrorist Organizations against U.S. Army equities; develop information papers for leadership
  • Author memoranda and finished intelligence products for senior leadership audiences
  • Support inspections of subordinate units on appropriate methods to collect, store, and process digital evidence
  • Conduct briefings and discussions with internal and external senior leadership
  • Compile and disseminate metrics capturing cyber CI activities in support of investigations, collections, and operations
  • Coordinate with U.S. Intelligence and Law Enforcement community resources for cyber-related events
  • Apply knowledge of computer- and Internet-based applications that can facilitate national security crimes such as espionage and terrorism
