About The Position

As a CI Investigations Desk Officer supporting U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command, you will integrate, manage, assess, and provide focused analysis in support of CI Investigations and Operations. You will review case files and produce comprehensive Analytical Reviews that identify investigative gaps, leads, and operational vulnerabilities, while coordinating across DoD, Army Service Component Commands, and other government agencies to drive disciplined investigation outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current CI Polygraph (within last 5 years); willingness to successfully complete a CI-Scope Polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis
  • Due to clearance requirements U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Prior credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent experience — minimum 10 years (Army 35L/351L/35E, AFOSI, NCIS, or predecessor). College education does NOT substitute for this experience.
  • Graduation from one of: Army CISAC, Army 35L (or predecessor), Army 351L (or predecessor), Army 35E (or predecessor), Air Force BISC, or Navy SABTB
  • Strong understanding of CI investigations, CI Flags, and FIE TTPs

  • JCITA ACIIC, AFCIOC, and JMCCC coursework
  • CCITP-F/A (Insider Threat practitioner credentials)
  • SPeD SFPC certification
  • Familiarity with ACOP/CAS, Palantir Gotham/Foundry, i2 Analyst's Notebook, and DITMAC

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, manage, assess, and provide focused analysis in support of Counterintelligence Investigations and Operations
  • Review and analyze reporting and case files related to CI investigations; produce comprehensive Analytical Reviews
  • Identify investigative gaps and operational potential, including CI flags, CI indicators, and operational vulnerabilities posing CI threats to HUMINT activities
  • Conduct coordination among analytical elements of DoD, USACIC, Army Service Component Commands, and other government agencies; provide threat-related data back to the division
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team/Branch/Division Chiefs
  • Review active and terminated investigations for vulnerabilities, leads, and trends; prepare them for retirement
  • Develop counterintelligence products as required — Analytical Information Reports, Operations Briefs, Investigation and Operational Support Products, RFI responses
