About The Position

CACI is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join its team in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Within the Data Management practice, this role supports an Agile development team responsible for enhancing and maintaining a critical enterprise cybersecurity platform. The engineer will modernize cybersecurity operations by converting manual, resource-intensive processes into automated, data-driven solutions, contributing to stronger security, operational efficiency, and decision-making. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and technical education and experience appropriate to the position.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Meet one of the following technical-discipline education and relevant experience combinations: High School Diploma/GED and 12 years; Associate's Degree and 10 years; Bachelor's Degree and 8 years; Master's Degree and 6 years; or Doctorate Degree and 4 years.
Strong experience developing and supporting analytics and data processing solutions.
Proficiency in Python development.
Education and experience must be in a technical discipline related to the position; degrees, diplomas, and certificates must be from accredited institutions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience supporting system authorization and accreditation activities.
Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and tools such as Nessus.
Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking.
Experience working with Pig and PySpark.
Experience developing AWS Lambda functions.
Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support analytics solutions using Python, AWS Lambda, Pig, and PySpark.
Design and implement scalable data processing and ingestion solutions for enterprise cybersecurity initiatives.
Review data ingestion requests and collaborate with team members through code reviews and merge requests.
Ensure accurate, integral, and timely delivery of data to end users.
Monitor daily application and data operations, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Validate incoming data for completeness, consistency, and quality.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance automated security capabilities and support Secure the Enterprise objectives.
Participate in Agile/SCRUM development activities, including planning, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
