About The Position

Nex-Tech is seeking an outgoing, customer-focused individual to join their Customer Experience team, part-time. As a Cx Specialist, the role involves helping customers discover and connect with Nex-Tech products and services that make their lives easier. Responsibilities include assisting with sales and promotions, preparing customer contracts, processing payments, and providing solutions for billing or account questions. The position emphasizes building relationships that strengthen communities and offers a dynamic, people-centered environment with opportunities to work in various Nex-Tech offices across their service area.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software (Word, Excel, databases)
  • Ability to listen, identify customer needs, and recommend solutions
  • Outgoing personality and strong problem-solving skills
  • Community-minded approach and willingness to collaborate with others
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • One year of customer service, telephone sales, or related experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote Nex-Tech products and services to meet customer needs
  • Prepare contracts and process customer payments
  • Assist customers with billing questions, account adjustments, and service inquiries
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Occasional weekly travel may be required to support other Nex-Tech office locations.
