About The Position

Responsible for leading, engaging, motivating and accountability of assigned team members or CVS work area (production, pack-out, etc.). This role involves weekly scheduling of assigned team members or work area, taking into account workflow volume, delivery times, and file transmission times to ensure zero customer impact. The supervisor holds team members accountable for tardiness and unexcused attendance, and is responsible for the team’s accurate and efficient work product. This position drives the coordination and flow of work to the team’s work area, ensuring all assigned work is completed prior to team members being relieved from their shift. The supervisor provides direction and guidance to team members requiring additional support and independently researches complex out-of-balance transactions, making necessary approvals. Productivity standards are monitored, and team members are held accountable for meeting or exceeding goals, with assistance provided for productivity improvement training. Daily Huddles are conducted with the workgroup to ensure effective two-way communication, including sharing productivity results, highlighting customer-impacting issues, and celebrating success. The role ensures workgroup compliance with all company policies and procedures, including individual bank and state and federal regulations. Daily activities are reviewed to identify process improvement opportunities, which are then discussed with other supervisors and managers for execution. A continuous improvement mindset is expected. The supervisor displays diligence and actively identifies safety and security risks, mitigating deficiencies and reporting concerns to management. Compliance with Company Escalation and Security Notification Policies is ensured. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the ability to create engagement and collaboration with peer supervisors is necessary to ensure a seamless flow of work between areas. The supervisor ensures Teller’s balance orders/deposits with appropriate balancing documents and that balanced work is assigned and custody control is assigned to the Vault Custodian.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency Degree (BS/BA Preferred)
  • Excellent Mathematic, Verbal, and Comprehension Skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced, repetitive process and secure production environment
  • Ability to take ownership of issues, break down barriers, and make decisions

  • Understanding and Proficiency in workgroup daily tasks
  • 2 + Years active experience in a production type operation
