CVOR Technologist – Travel Contract - CVORVP
About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lubbock, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled surgical professional with extensive cardiovascular operating room experience who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role involves scrubbing and assisting during Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical procedures, preparing and maintaining sterile fields, specialized instrumentation, and cardiovascular surgical equipment. The technologist will anticipate surgeon and team needs to ensure efficient surgical workflow and patient safety, provide expert support during complex cardiovascular cases, and work exclusively within the CVOR department with no floating requirements. Participation in assigned on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is also expected.
Requirements
- Active NBSTSA Certification
- Minimum 2 consecutive years of dedicated CVOR experience
- Strong experience scrubbing Cardiothoracic and Vascular cases
- Previous travel contract experience required
- Excellent knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
