About The Position
This is a CVOR Tech position requiring Cardiovascular Thoracic & Vascular experience. The role is for a Short Term Acute Care facility with 379 total staffed beds and is a Level II Trauma Center. Non-billable orientation is 0 hours, which is reduced from the standard 40 hours. The position does not float between units. On-call is required for nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekends are not required as part of the regular schedule, nor are block schedules. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3. 48-hour work weeks are not approved.
Requirements
- Cardio Thoracic & Vascular experience required.
- 2 years of consecutive experience in Cardiovascular surgery required.
- NBSTSA certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular surgery procedures.
- Provide technical support in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room).
- Be on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays.
