About The Position

Client Offer CVOR/Vascular Surg Tech Shift: 4x10s, 06:30-17:00. This position is for a vascular surgical technologist within the CVOR. The role requires the ability to perform endovascular cases, aortagrams, venogram, arteriograms with intervention as well as EVAR, TCAR, and TVAR. The technologist will also scrub open vascular cases such as AAA, fem pops, cutdowns, groin explorations, and embolectomies. Experience in Inpatient, Outpatient, and Community Hospital work settings is required. Cerner EMR is preferred. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.

Requirements

1 year of experience in Vascular surgery cases.
Ability to perform endovascular cases, aortagrams, venogram, arteriograms with intervention as well as EVAR, TCAR, and TVAR.
Ability to scrub open vascular cases such as AAA, fem pops, cutdowns, groin explorations, embolectomies.
Inpatient, Outpatient, Community Hospital work setting experience required.
Scrub skills required.
BLS required.
On-call required: 1-2 days a week and 1 weekend a month.

COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Atherectomy.
Experience with Vein stripping.
Cerner EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform vascular surgery cases including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR).
Assist in CVOR cases.
Perform endovascular cases, aortagrams, venogram, arteriograms with intervention as well as EVAR, TCAR, and TVAR.
Scrub open vascular cases such as AAA, fem pops, cutdowns, groin explorations, embolectomies.
Work in Inpatient, Outpatient, and Community Hospital settings.
Utilize Cerner EMR.
Be available for on-call duties 1-2 days a week and one weekend a month.
Float within scope to meet facility needs (No).
Float to Sister Facilities (No).
