About The Position

The CVOR Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile surgical fields for cardiovascular procedures, assisting surgeons during cardio-thoracic and vascular surgeries, and ensuring the availability and proper functioning of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. This role requires anticipating surgeon needs and providing appropriate instrumentation during procedures, while adhering to infection prevention, patient safety, and operating room protocols. The technologist will collaborate with the surgical team and maintain accurate documentation to support quality patient care throughout the perioperative process. This is a 13-week assignment in Lubbock, TX.

Requirements

• NBSTSA Certification required
• Previous travel experience required
• Minimum 2 years of consecutive Cardiovascular Surgery experience
• Strong Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular surgery experience required
• Experience assisting in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment

Nice To Haves

• Extensive CVOR experience in acute care hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and procedures
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Responsibilities
