About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining sterile technique, preparing surgical equipment, and assisting during complex cardiovascular procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT) required
- Active Colorado CST License (DORA) required
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR and Hybrid Cath Lab
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure operating room readiness
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support the surgical team during procedures
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
