Requirements
- Active CST license in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS certification
- 2+ years of recent surgical tech experience in the CVOR
- 1+ years of recent experience with Surgical Trauma patients (Level 1)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic vital signs and medication administration
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures
- Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites
- Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts
- Handle surgical specimens for lab processing
- Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed
