Requirements

Master's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Provider program.
Current Florida ACNP license
Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification required within 6 months of hire).
1 year of experience is required
BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner license (Required)

Nice To Haves

critical care, cardiology, or ICU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to CVICU patients in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients.
Participate in treatment planning, patient monitoring, and care coordination.
Respond to changes in patient condition and support critical care interventions.
Collaborate with nursing, respiratory therapy, and other clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence within the unit.
