About The Position

Performs all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate. This role assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The specialist also performs post-procedure care/groin management, operates and maintains radiologic equipment, and manages supply inventory.

Responsibilities

Assists physicians with cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/IABP insertion and diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
Performs post procedure care/groin management including arterial and venous sheath removal.
Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on radiologic equipment.
Maintains supply inventory.
Other duties as assigned
