About The Position
InterHealth Staffing, the for-profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, connects healthcare professionals with flexible opportunities while supporting TGH’s commitment to world-class, compassionate care. This position is a 13–26-week contract assignment. Contract roles are designed with a strong focus on conversion to permanent employment, and extensions may be available based on business needs and mutual interest. The Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS) and Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) are qualified through didactic, laboratory, and clinical technological education to perform various cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role is based in a hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory with an open-heart surgery program.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program and hold an Associate of Science degree.
- Complete 500 hours of PCI-certified work in a hospital cardiac catheterization laboratory with an open-heart surgery program.
- Hold certification from an accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program.
- Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Be registry eligible for RCIS or ARRT RT (R).
Responsibilities
