CV Anesthesiologist- CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth - Beaumont, TX | 650K W2 for 26 weeks - CABGS/Cath Lab
About The Position
We are seeking a service-oriented CV Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative anesthesia team at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas for a 26 week job share. This full-time W2 employed position offers a robust compensation and benefits package, a wide-ranging case mix, and the support of a strong, collegial team. The primary day-to-day focus will be CABGs and supervising the cath lab, except for when on call for the general OR (1 in every 6 days). There is an in-house CRNA covering OB 24 hours a day. The case mix includes Ortho, General Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, CV, Neuro and more. The total team includes 8 Anesthesiologists and 25 CRNAs. Daily staffing includes 3 MDs and 8 CRNAs for the main hospital, and 1 MD and 4 CRNAs for outpatient centers.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Comfortable with Cardiac, OB, and Neuro anesthesia
Nice To Haves
- CV Fellowship not required, but a strong plus!
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for CABGs.
- Supervise the cath lab.
- Be on call for general OR (1 in every 6 days).
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases including Ortho, General Surgery, GI, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, CV, and Neuro.
