About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cutover Lead to plan and execute the transition from legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to a full-suite Workday platform (Financials, HCM, and Supply Chain, as applicable). This implementation coincides with an active merger, and the cutover plan must account for the integration of two organizations' systems, data, and operating processes. The program follows a two-phase go-live: a partial go-live on December 20, 2026, with the remaining scope going live on January 1, 2027. The Cutover Lead owns the end-to-end cutover strategy, detailed runbook, and command center execution for both events, including the interim period between them.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of ERP program experience, with at least three full-lifecycle cutovers in a lead role
  • Direct experience leading cutover from legacy ERP platforms (e.g., Lawson/Infor, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP ECC, or Meditech/legacy financials) to Workday
  • Hands-on experience with full-suite Workday deployments (Financials and HCM at minimum)
  • Demonstrated success managing phased or split go-lives, including interim-state operations between events
  • Proven ability to build and execute detailed runbooks with hundreds of sequenced tasks across multiple teams and vendors
  • Experience running a go-live command center, including issue management and executive go/no-go facilitation
  • Strong command of data conversion, integration cutover, and legacy decommissioning practices
  • Availability to start immediately and to work through the December 2026 and January 2027 go-live windows, including holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Cutover or program experience on an ERP implementation that included a merger, acquisition, or divestiture, including day-one readiness planning and multi-entity consolidation
  • Workday Launch/Deployment methodology familiarity or partner-side delivery experience
  • Healthcare industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the master cutover plan and runbook covering both go-live events, including entry and exit criteria, task sequencing, dependencies, and rollback/contingency plans
  • Plan and manage the interim operating state between the December 20 partial go-live and the January 1 full go-live, including dual-state processing, data synchronization, and freeze periods
  • Coordinate cutover activities across workstreams: data conversion, integrations, security, testing, infrastructure, training, and business readiness
  • Stand up and run the cutover command center for both go-live events, including issue triage, escalation paths, status cadence, and go/no-go decision support for executive leadership
  • Manage legacy system integration sequencing, blackout windows, and business continuity plans
  • Communicate cutover status, risks, and decisions clearly to program leadership, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors

Benefits

  • competitive benefit package
