Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience using metal cutting tools in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Basic knowledge of steel materials and profiles.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using calipers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate abrasive cut-off saws (Chop Saw) safely and efficiently.
Operate manual band saws for cutting metal materials.
Measure materials using tape measures to ensure accurate cuts.
Verify dimensions and material thickness before cutting.
Identify steel materials such as tubing, flat bar, angle, beams, and other structural profiles.
Use calipers to verify dimensions and thickness when needed.
Change cutting wheels, blades, or bands when required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Care for assigned tools, machines, and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Support other production tasks as needed.
