Cut-Off Saw Operator maintains stock, sets-up saw equipment, and cuts stock into specific lengths as required for production.

Requirements

Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

Receive and maintain aluminum stock.
Perform set-ups of saw and saw equipment according to procedure.
Replace saw blade as needed.
Assist in loading and unloading stock from saw table.
Operate the cut-off saw.
Run production, assuring all requirements for length and quantity are met as per job travelers and procedures.
Maintain the stock supply room.
Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.
Operate a forklift.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by APP leadership.
