IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR As Customs & Inbound Logistics Coordinator at Envalior, you will ensure the duty drawback and Free Trade Agreement qualifications are in compliance. You will actively manage the processing of inbound shipments in conjunction with brokerage and drayage providers. Requirements

  • Familiarity with US HTS code and process of product classification
  • Strong knowledge of Free Trade Agreements, especially USMCA, and the related qualification methods
  • Understanding of global logistics and import / export regulations
  • Sound knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • ERP knowledge of Master Data function; SAP preferred
  • Logistics planning experience, preferably with ocean and air freight
  • Track record of managing competing priorities and multiple outside vendors
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be comfortable taking initiative to meet business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3-5 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Administering the duty drawback and trading programs with the external service providers, and tracking vendor KPI’s on a monthly basis
  • Utilizing SAP GTS, act as focal point for regional preferential treatment qualifications and issuing certificates on a yearly renewal basis, while also fielding ad-hoc requests outside of renewal period
  • Maintain customs-related material master data (HTS code and country of origin); drive global consistency and accuracy for the US-based company code in SAP ECC
  • Assist the inbound process until goods receipt in warehouse including managing the drayage provider in collaboration with the Regional Warehouse Manager who manages the warehouse provider
  • Direct brokerage provider to prioritize incoming containers, to be cleared in a timely manner avoiding delays and detention costs
  • Develop and maintain expertise on supply chain know-how and customs regulations, utilizing continuing education to insure continued compliance with changing regulations
  • Create ad-hoc reports relating to inbound order flows and drayage provider performance
